Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser Exposed: an Overdue Reality Check - 16 MAY08

Last month a debate occurred at Edison College in Naples Florida. It set Imam Mohamed Al-Darsani of the Islamic Center for PEACE against Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser, a frequent pundit for many mainstream news channels and a praised Islamic Reformer of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy. The purpose of the debate was to answer this question “Is the establishment of an Islamic state a clear and ideological threat to the United States”. Dr. Jasser was arguing the affirmative and Imam Al-Darsani the negative.

The Mandy Connell Show - 29 APR 08

Imam Mohamed Al-Darsani and Mohamed T. Al-Darsani will be on Mandy Connell's morning radio show (Daybreak) on Thursday 08 April 2008.

The show will be a follow up to their last appearance which lit up the callboards. Unfortunately no guest callers were accepted however this time around callers will be welcome to comment and ask questions.

Their first appearance on the show was a reaction to statements made by Dr. Zuhdi Jasser as well as Mandy and her crew. The statements about Islam in general, and more specifically Imam Al-Darsani and Mohamed T on her morning show.

on 18 April 2007 during the first appearance by the Islamic Center for PEACE many subjects were brought up including Islam, Iraq, Terror, and Guantanamo Bay.

On an earlier broadcast of her show one of her co-workers commented on sending a mouse to Guantanamo bay. To which she responded "Why? So he can have three squares (3 meals) a day, and have a prayer mat provided for him? Yeah! That's a tough life!" When confronted with this statement she defended her position, and made sure to remind her audience that it was a prison. This is true, however she failed to mention that it is a prison where people are held without charges many of whom have been released without ever having been charged with anything.

Guantanamo Bay represents a facility that defies the very ideas of human dignity and human rights.
